@chigrace: This is my introduction post to steemit.
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
I feel so happy to write this introduction post after my account was created by @focusnow. I am glad to join this wonderful platform called steemit.
I am Miss. Chioma Maureen Okonkwo. I was born on the 27th of july 1994 in Abia State, Aba. I was raised by my single mother whose name is Joy Okonkwo. I am a native of Abba in Njikoka LGA of anambra state.
EDUCATION
I started school in the village while living with my grandmother (Mrs. Patience Okonkwo) before joining mother in the city of Lagos for my basic education proper. I was enrolled in Del International School which is situated at odushelu street in Mushin LGA of Lagos state.
I relocated to Abia State in the year 2006 and continued schooling at College Primary School 1 Aba and sat for my FSLC examination in the year 2008. By 2013, i sat for my WAEC at GALAXY GEM COLLEGE here in Aba.
I also attended many seminars that has to do with entrepreneurship and computer training which i did for close to a year and six months.
CAREER
I ventured into liquid soap and Izal making in the year 2015 and within a little space of time, i joined it with producing pap, soyabean powder. It was booming with the grace of God till i decided to go and learn how to operate an industrial weaving machines. When i was through within the space of 1yr, i opened mine in the year 2019 and hoped to expand it soon. My shop is situated at shop 31 Etche road by mosque behind Abia State College of Health.
HOBBIES
I love cooking, reading and experimenting positve things.
HOW I DISCOVERED STEEMIT & MY PURPOSE OF JOINING
My neighbour @toson at my working place introduced me to steemit during an interaction. It will please me to be a member because i want to learn from the elites in steemit and also get to meet new people and contribute to the growth and betterment of Steemit.
