Security is very very important in everything we do in life, when we are security consious we will keep all our things safe, for example if we are in the market we don't keep our bag anyhow knowing fully well that it may get lost so for all the hours we will spend in the market,,, we will be careful, so in steemit we have something that we need to keep safe which is our keys,so I am going to write about the keys ww have on Steemit.

• Have you retrieved all your keys?

Yes I have received all my keys , they are

• Posting key

• Active key

• Memo key

• Owner key

• Master password

• Do you know the functions and restrictions of those keys?

Yes I know their functions and restrictions.
Posting key is the key that you will use to login to Steemit account to make post, make commets, upvote a post and resteem a post.

Active key is for wallet transaction, joining Curation trail, delegation, power up and transfer of steem token.

Owner key has the power to reset an account or recover an account or lost key.

Master password is the master of all the keys which one need to keep it safe online and offline, if anything happens to it the account is lost.

Memo key is for encryption or to lock transaction

• How do you plan to keep your master password safe?

I have saved it ofline and keep it safe.

• **Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another user?

You can do that with your active key, login to your wallet and click on transfer.

Then input the username of the person when the page opens , click ok to complete the transaction.

• Do you know how to power up your steem token?

It is the same way,, you will login to your wallet with your active key, click on power up

Then put the amount you want to Power up and click on ok to confirm it.

In conclusion it is important to keep our Steemit key safe as it is a personal properties, the same way we keep other important things safe, feeling of safe is when things are safe.
