How are you, dear friends? I hope all my friends will be well and happy, By the grace of God, I am also well. Today I am here for Achievement 3. Some day ago I received a message from @aniqamashkoor in which she mentions completing achievement 3.
So in this post, I will explain PLAGIARISM in detail.
What is Plagiarism?
Plagiarism is stealing another author's work. plagiarism is using someone else world without giving the proper credit to the original author. if I define it in a simple way, so it is an illegal way to copy and paste the content of another person without giving the credit to the author is known as plagiarism.
For Example, we find an article on the internet that is exactly too suitable for our work and then we copy and paste it into our work like documents, assignments, or articles.
What should we do?
The key to avoiding plagiarism is to always write a source citation for the world and ideas that are not your own. Citation means we need to use a reference link from where we take ideas or copy-paste the sentence. We need to use our own ideas and thoughts when we are going to write something. it is an advantage for the readers to know more detail if they wish to gain.
For Example, I copy an article from the internet for our steemit post and not add the source link that is called plagiarism so for avoiding this plagiarism we need to add the link of the source content that I copy from the internet and use it into steemit post. hope you will understand well.
What can we need to do to avoid Plagiarism?
Give the proper time to create your own content, don't use shortcuts or illegal ways. Use your own ideas, thoughts, and opinions, etc.
Always use quotation marks when we use the article from the internet. It is a simple way to tell which information that we get from the other auther article but must need to use citation.
Use the paraphrasing technique. it means that present the other ideas and opinion and convert it into their own word. For paraphrasing use the reference or source link of the original author at the end of the article.
