Hello steemians, it is interesting to know that being on steemit doesn't only introduce us to new knowledge but rewards us for sharing our knowledge (Proof-of-brain concept).

Now the big question is how do I convert my reward to a currency accepted in my country.

If a Nigerian remote employee gets paid in USD, he obviously can use USD to purchase anything in his country until he exchanges it for Nigeria's currency, Naira. If he doesn't know how to exchange digitally, then he will have to do that through a bureau de change which will demand a high exchange fee.

Steemscan is a steem exchange tool built on the steem blockchain, it is used in converting steem into other cryptocurrencies such as USDT, BTC, and TRX.

The idea of steem scan has helped a lot of steemians in carrying out exchanges by themselves without the help of other old steemians, due to its very easy understanding features. To the best of my knowledge, it was developed by @futureshock and @roadofrich.

Having gone through all the features on steemscan, I will be sharing all I discovered and have learned through a list of questions given in the task.

The current steem price as of my date of submission is 0.46 USD/1 STEEM. Its volume of supply is 404,269,346 Steem/11,124,506SBD.

The information under the latest transactions includes Block ID, ID, Sender, Receiver/permlink/Id, Type, Amount/%/payload. These are operations carried out on the blockchain every second.
While the latest block section shows the block transactions and ID of the transactions.

The information shown under the witnesses section is the people that have the key to the blockchain. It has the current witness which changes each minute from my calculations. There are more than 100 witnesses.
To vote for a witness, go to the witness feature, you will find a long list of the various witnesses with their information. There, you can cast your vote.

DApps is a decentralized application. I haven't been opportune to use any of the apps contained in the DApps features but I would like to use Dtube, steemworld, and steemit.

Quick convert is a command used in converting steem to either USDT, BTC, or TRX. The fee charged on steem to USDT or BTC differs at each steem amount. For instance, 20 steem to USDT is exchanged at 1.08460161USDT fee and 2000 steem to USDT is exchanged at 9.42994000USDT, etc.

The search button can be used to search for quick access to the site.
