Hi everybody! I am a newbie for this forum. Here are some achievements give by steam greet community which newbies have to fulfill. I have also completed my achievement 1 in steam greet community.
All these achievement to do increase our knowledge about steemit. I hope you all are doing great achievement here. In this achievement I am going to discuss about keys and its importance.
POSTING KEY ~
After reading the description which I understood that where to comment, post and vote someone. These key perform only social short action.
The green aero is used for upvote and the red aero is used for downvote.
ACTIVE KEY ~
It is necessary to move funds out of your account or deal with any of the steem/SBD in your account.
This is also do powering up and down your steem.
It is used for many different purpose I am new here so I don't know so much about this key.
MEMO KEY ~
It is the only key specially used for private messaging. It is used for only private messages sent and received via your steemit account.
OWNER KEY ~
After reading this I understood that this is the owner of all the keys. It can do all those works which all keys do individually.
It is the most useful key. It has the power to reset every other key.
This is what I understood about keys. So, if you will find out any mistake in this post then gratefully tell me.
Thank you!!
Thanks for this post!
The active key is generally anything relating to financial transactions. This means it is used for transferring funds, powering up and down, trading on the market. It is also the key you use to vote for witnesses. Witnesses are the representative officials in Steem's system of governance.
Otherwise, you have demonstrated sufficient understanding of the keys and their functions. I would add that the master password functions similarly to the owner key, and can be used for account recovery in some situations.
You are ready to move on to achievement 3!
Best regards!
