Key Retrieval on Steemit

It refers to the process of accessing data from a storage device.
In creating my account, I was directed to download a very important PDF that contains all of my keys. With further advice again from my mentor @youngshu1, I proceeded to have both a softcopy and hardcopy of this very vital personal information. This permits me to get back all my keys any day in case of any trouble.
Below I will like to list the keys and their respective roles from what I understand.

Roles of the Keys

POSTING KEY
This is used to login daily, vote, post, comment, follow and mute other accounts.
MASTER PASSWORD
The clue is in the name "MASTER". This is the foundation password that generates the file containing the others. It is used to regenerate an account in any case.
OWNER KEY
Usually used in cases of suspicious activities where the account is thought to be compromised; used to change any other keys of the account.
ACTIVE KEY
The key used to transfer funds, to power up and down, to convert, to place market orders and to update profile settings.
MEMO KEY
It is a coding key used to encrypt and decrypt memos usually sent during transfer of funds.

How I plan on keeping my master password.

This is the generator of passwords, and as a result; it is priority to safeguard this by any means necessary. As already iterated above, I have made it possible to access this both offline and online at any time with ease.

Transferring steem tokens to other accounts

This is possible via these steps;

• Go to wallet
• Go to steem section
• Go to drop down arrow
• Click transfer
• Input receiving account name
• End operation by putting the active key

Powering up

With the aid of @youngshu1, I was able to overcome the challenges in this step.
To power up;

• Go to wallet
• Click steem
• Click power up
• Login using active key as password.
