Do you understand how voting and curation work on steemit?

Votes on steemit are just like marks awarded to creators of content in the steemit community.The percentage of marks or score you will get is determined by the steem power of the person voting .A person with high SP has high influence when they vote your post and those with small steem power doeshave enough weight they vote you .But as their SP increases so is their voting power .The amount of vote we get shows the rewards we can get and claim.Voting on steemit is just as simple as liking a post on any social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
Curation is when you vote or someone else votes a post or publication .In this case the one voting then become the curator.You can either be up voted or down voted depending on the curators choice.Everyone start wilth 100% voting mana or power,anytime you vote you use small amount of your voting mana.The more you use your voting mana the less influence it will have .A voting mana of 50% voting mana will be left worth 1/2 of the 100% .The steemit network recharges your voting mana by 20% every day.And one thing about the citation is that 50% goes to author of the post /comment and 50% goes back the curator.
What happens if you vote on a post within 5 minutes of posting?
Of the 50% that goes to the curator, the curator will receive less than 100% if the curator votes within the first 5 minutes.It is calculated linearly based on the moment of vote cast

I will vote for @steemchiller ,he is the creator of steem world.org which is very useful to the steemit community .This community allows steem users to share ideas about the world around them .They also conduct contest for people to participate and also win some SBD awards.
@world of xpilar is community that organizes assigment for people to participate and also be awarded for their efforts.They also employ professors to be giving out assignment and marking of test .@cryptoking is a community about technology which allows people to share knowledge about technological development .
What community will you join on Steemit and why?

I will the newcomers community ,this communities helps new comers in the steem to understand how steem works and how to make progress in tge steemit .I will also join the zero to infinity community .This community organizes quiz and competitions for people to participate and also win some steem and SBD in order to increase their SP faster.
