Hello my steemian friends how are you today. Im fine and i hope that you guys are also doing great in this time. Last time I poster my second achievement task and it was approved by @boss75 and now I'm going to post my third task on plagiarism.

So let's do it.

What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is to present any work as one's own by copying that work without giving its credit to its original owner or without the permission of the owner.

If a person is caught doing Plagiarism, then there is a provision that he should be suspended or other punishment can also be given. Punishments like suspension, penalties, expulsion from the work or substantial fines.

Types of Plagiarism

There are so many types of plagiarism. Here I will discuss about mainly 5 types of plagiarism.

  • Complete Plagiarism

  • Direct Plagiarism

  • Paraphrasing Plagiarism

  • Accidental Plagiarism

  • Mosaic Plagiarism

Complete Plagiarism

In this type of plagiarism, author will make a manuscript and present with his or her name. It is also call intellectual theft or steeling.

Direct Plagiarism

In this type of plagiarism person copied the owner's work word by word and considered as his or her own work. It is similar to the complete plagiarism. It is for academic.

Paraphrasing Plagiarism

In this type of plagiarism, one copied the writing of author with minor changes. He changes the word but he forget that if you change the word the sense of the writing will be same. Mostly Academic students are doing this mistake.

Accidental Plagiarism

You can understand this plagiarism by its name. In this type of plagiarism person does not want to copy another work. But unfortunately his work will similar to the other work. Then it will come in the accidental plagiarism.

mosaic Plagiarism

Mosaic plagiarism occurs when a student borrows phrases from a source without using quotation marks, or finds synonyms for the author's language while keeping to the same general language structure and meaning as found in the original.

How to avoid Plagiarism

There are some points the can help you to avoid plagiarism.

  • Use quotation to show that the thing is copied from another page ot other.

  • Use source links where the copied post belongs.

  • Use plagiarism checker tools.

Reason behind Plagiarism

There are many reasons behind plagiarism. Some are shown below.

  • Want to good grade and appreciation.

  • One is not interested in project or assignment but it's compulsory.

  • One doesn't want to fail anyway. So he copied.

  • Not to be good in time management.

Conclusion
