Hello Fellow Steemians !!! Good afternoon.
I am Abdul Anas, a graduate in Renewable Energy engineering from the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Ghana. I am honoured to join this noble community. I am @anas354 on the blockchain.
The passion and the unrest zeal to pursue a career in engineering has never been ruled out in my life. Barely four years ago, I had a twist in my career. It all started when I was posted to do my National Service at Berekum Senior High School. My dream to have an industrial experience in order to fit well in the field of engineering was shattered. @juzkid who I joined steemit four years ago helped me to rejoin again. I must say thank you to him. I promise @juzkid to do my possible best to remain helpful and relevant on the blockchain.
Right after my national service, I had an offer at Gyedu Integrated Community Centre for Employable Skills to teach Mathematics and Electrical Principles and Installation. Though I did not have any background knowledge and skills in the teaching profession, I was able to discharge my duties satisfactorily. I developed passion for teaching and this made it difficult for me to pursue my engineering career.
Last year, I had an opportunity to enroll in Newmont Ghana Gold Limited Apprenticeship Programme. This called for me to make a life-changing decision. I took a bold decision to pursue my dream in engineering. I took this step because I want to explore the field of engineering in order to gain more practical knowledge and skills.
I am currently enrolled in four programmes; Mining Maintenance, Process Plant
(Fixed Plant ), Welding and Electrical engineering & Instrumentation. My area of specialisation will be Electrical Engineering & Instrumentation.
