I hope you are all doing well.Today, I'm going to share my Achievement 2 on basic steemit security regarding various keys, their functions,influence and what could happen if a person loses them.This achievement also includes the use of your wallet for transaction, steem up/down converting steem token and steem dollars and what not.Before I begin to write my official assignment , I would like to thank @cryptokannon for filling in the newcomers regarding the steemit security through a post.

Question : Have you retrieved all your keys on steemit?

Answer:

Yes,I Have acquired all my keys on Google drive , memory card and would save it in my diary also. As i have come to know that these keys are the backbone of the steemit account so i can't afford to bear any damage done to them.

Question : Do you know the functions of each of these keys?

Answer:

Yes I evidently know their functions and practically executed one of these keys so they comes in sequence given below according to their worth.

Owner key:

It is used to find back or accquire your other keys in time of crisis you can generate them anew.It also is involved in decrementing the voting and itself can be generated by the master key or password.

Active Key:

It is used for more of a fragile work like powering up and down,converting steem dollar to steem,witness voting,shifting funds and transactions. It also plays a role in posting and updating your profile, if it is lost by an chance could be recovered by owner key.

Posting Key:

It is used for daily logging in, activities in the platform like voting, posting,commenting, editing,resteeming, following others and muting people who gives you any headache.

Memo Key:

It is rarely used only when transferring messages in blockchain either to encrypt (code words used to alter the ordinary language of messages for security) or decrypt (reversing the coded messages into ordinary language ).

Question : How do you plan to keep your master password?

It has got the protocol above all the other keys as it can be used to retrieve, regain or accquire the other keys including owner key itself (which retrieve all others and itself too)if you loose them in future.It is not for daily use only when your account is endangered.So in the light of the above importance i would prefer to safeguard master password in my Google drive, memory card , in my diary or in hard disc.

Question : Do you know how to transfer you steem token to another steem user account?

Answer:

Yes ;First of all go to your profile and open your wallet

now as you can see the heading of steem so click on the amount written below beside steem,after that you can see some options click on the transfer

and next write the account name you want to transfer your steem to and also write the amount below then click next

and finally click ok.

Question:Do you know how to power up?

Yes,Do the same as you are told in the above transferring process but now click on the power up instead of transfer,

then write that much amount you want to power up then click power up,

finally ok it and Boom here you go Bravo.
