Good day Steemians I will be talking about application of Mark downs below in partial fulfillment of my achievement 4 task. having read and understood all there is to markdown and it's smooth application, I will be using the summary of the book - Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda to show you how much I have learnt.

Book Summary

Fifteen-year-old Kambili's world is circumscribed by the high walls and frangipani trees of her family compound. Her wealthy Catholic father, under whose shadow Kambili lives, while generous and politically active in the community, is repressive and fanatically religious at home. When Nigeria begins to fall apart under a military coup, Kambili's father sends her and her brother away to stay with their aunt, a University professor, whose house is noisy and full of laughter.

Purple Hibiscus was Chimamandas debut in the literary world. It garnered praises and recognition all over the world. Even from notable book organizations. It was so good a book her writing style was likened to that of Chinua Achebe- one of the greatest writers Africa has ever had.
