The plagiarism meaning comes from the Latin word ‘plagiarisms,’ which means to kidnap. As the plagiarism definition suggests, when someone uses the work of another artist without properly citing the source or giving credit, then that will be an instance of plagiarism. Plagiarism is a punishable offense, and it is a form of intellectual theft.source

Types of plagiarism:

cloning: this plagiarism occurs when the material or work of a person is presented as their own and is copied verbatim without making any change.

mosaic: this plagiarism occurs when material is copied from different sources and they fit it into paragraphs and pass it off as a roiginal work.

remix: this plagiarism consists of changing the words of a text but not changing the structure of it.

as we do to avoid plagiarism:

• we must always take the data from the source from which we are obtaining the information.

• Always cite the phrase or paragraph directly from the original and prove the authority and source through a citation or bibliographic reference. Example: The history of computing hardware starting at 1960 is marked by the conversion from vacuum tube to solid-state devices such as transistors and then integrated circuit chips source

• Paraphrase the original words of the author and we must accredit the authority through a citation or bibliographic reference.

within this platform plagiarism is punishable and is very frowned upon there is never a lack of those who want to get hold of the works of others, and make themselves known with them without, give credit to the author we are copying, so every time we make a publication, we must make use of these tools, and if we use texts and images, that are not of us we must quote it, and place the source of this with respect to the images the source would be so

This was all for my achievement 3 where we talked about plagiarism its types and how to avoid it so we have the right tools to be able to continue on the right track within steemit let's follow the rules and be original each of us since the creativity of each one can be great and we do not have to lower ourselves to this copying the others.
