Greetings and blessings to everyone in the steem community, this time I bring you my achievement 2 which is based on Steemit Basic Security. Many thanks to @dilchamo for verifying my first achievement and to @cryptokannon for helping us through their guidance.

I want to start by saying how important and interesting I found this achievement as it emphasizes the security of our steemit accounts. The platform provides us with several passwords a total of 5, which are our responsibility and we must keep them very well.

We must be ordered with our keys and maintain good security since it is very important to protect our accounts and thus avoid possible theft and attacks on our account, having many keys each having its own function which we must keep them very well in places that only we know to protect our profits very well.

Question 1

Have you obtained and saved all your Steemit passwords?

If, at the time I registered in steemit I received a series of passwords in PDF format, which at that time I obtained by protecting them in my email, also take advantage of saving it on a pen drive and even printed it and saved it in a safe place.

Do you know all the functions and restrictions of the keys?

Yes, reading I have learned about the different keys understanding that each one is very important to obtain better security on the platform. Its functions are as follows:

Activation key
Owner key
Key memo

Post key

This is with which we can log in to steemit, it has various functions, among them is to be able to publish, comment on the contents of other users, vote, subtract, follow, edit and even silence other accounts. This key also has restrictions since if it is used a lot it becomes vulnerable, therefore its use must be limited to avoid possible damage.

Activation key

This key allows us to make some updates and change our profile picture, it is also related to the wallet since with it we can make transactions, transfer funds, power up / down, convert steem dollars.

Owner key

This has been one of the most important so you have to protect it very well, in an offline site since it has the ability to change the other keys, even the owner so you have to use it only when required.

Key memo

This key is used to decrypt, encrypt and decrypt memos when making a transfer of funds, keep in mind that numeral (#) must be placed before encrypting a memo.

How do you plan to keep your master key safe?

The ideal and primordial thing is not to share it with anyone, first I chose to save it in my mail, then I saved it in the onedrive cloud, I also took them capture with the phone and save it in a safe place, including a pendrive of my use and finally I printed and saved it.

Do you know how to transfer your Steem tokens to another Steem user?

Yes, first we enter the wallet which will ask us to log in to steem Wallet in which we must log in with the activation key.

Once we have entered steem wallet we go where our steem balance is in green and we give the flechita, where a small box will appear in which we must locate the transfer option and click on that option.

A box will appear in which we must add the data of the user to whom this transfer is going to be made, the amount and memo, already finished filling all the data we give it next.

The confirmation window will appear, we observe that all the data is correct, we give it Ok and that's it.

Do you know how to perform the power up process in Steem?

Like the previous step we enter the wallet, we log in to steem wallet, we go to our steem balance and like the previous step we give the arrow and we go to power up( turn on).

A box will open in which we must place the desired amount, we give it to power up and that's it.
