Plagiarism is the act of stealing someone else's work and turning such as your own, changing words but copying the sentence structure, copying so many words ideas from a source that makes up majority of yours without crediting the source.

The whole truth about this plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it later on.

Plagiarism is known in different dimensions:

Direct plagiarism:

Is known as word for word plagiarism ie mimicking someone else's work without attribution and quotation marks.

Self plagiarism:

This is when someone kept on repeating same piece of work or images in different ways in the name of having a new content in your blog.

Mosaic plagiarism:

It is when someone else's interpret a source without using quotation marks, or find synonyms for the author's language while keeping soft copy as the original source.

Accidental plagiarism:

It is when something happened unintentional ie paraphrasing a source by using similar attribution. Citation always helps one to learn carefully on accurate note when doing research in other to avoid such plagiarisms.

However, the best method of avoiding such cases of plagiarism is clearly known as constructing your own words. But if you're using someone else's ideas or quotation you need to ensure that you have properly cited and referenced the original author.

Citation is otherwise known as;

When one uses someone else's idea that has already been expressed.

Citing sources shows how far you've researched

Whenever you use quotes

Whenever you paraphrase.

In conclusion;

"I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them"

Thanks for stopping by!
Stay safe.

Thank for this wanderful write up and i am impressed with the way you analyze this topic and i wish you all the best.

You did a very good job, however, I want to advice you that you need to credit/source any pictures which is not your original.

The source you provided in that used picture is different from the original source, take note of that.
