ACHIEVEMENT 2 @ajibusu TASK: BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM

INTRODUCTION

Let's start by defining the terms which we have today for easier understanding which includes the following:

BASIC: It means essential facts or principles of a subject.

SECURITY: It refers to all measures that are taken to protect a place or to ensure that only people with permission enters it or leaves it.

DEFINITION
BASIC SECURITY ON STEEM: can be defined to be all essential facts or principles taken to ensure that one protects his or her account and also to be the only one permitted user as it should be to access the account in order to perform his or her desired task anytime.

OBJECTIVE OF THE TASK
After going through the articles by @cryptokannon and @kiwiscanfly. I got to understand how STEEM works, the keys and it's uses and also where to be used. Also I had clear understanding about the steemit wallet and how it works.

 Let's go ahead in answering questions given :

(I) HAVE YOU RETRIEVED ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT ?
Answer: YES I DID
Knowing the importance of it I did so as soon as was given my master password when i signed up i used it to retrieve all other keys which includes: posting key,active key,owner key and memo key.
Which after that i downloaded my keys and stored offline where I can easily access it and keep it private.

(II)DO YOU KNOW FUNCTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS OF EACH OF THESE KEYS?
Answer:YES I DO
I can summary it by saying that
(A)MASTER KEY: This the password given when one signs up. Looking at the term master that means it is the key password for one's account.
It is used to derive all other keys which will be used to perform other activities in the one's account. It is restricted to be used only during account recovery process.

(B)POSTING KEY: From what i learnt it is been used to post,comment, edit,vote,resteem and follow or mute other accounts. It can only be used for daily logins.

(C)ACTIVE KEY: It is used mostly in STEEM wallet where it is been used for sensitive task such as transferring funds(token),power STEEM up or down, converting STEEM dollars,vote for witnesses,updating profile details and placing market orders.

(D)OWNERS KEY: It is the most powerful key this is simply because it is used to change any key of the account. It can only be used in recovering compromised account.

(E)MEMO KEY: It is used for encrypting and decrypting memo when transferring funds. In order to use memo you need to use # sign before it. It can only be used for concealing and converting information when transferring funds.

(III)HOW DO YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD?
Knowing the importance of it I have decided to keep it safe by keeping it personal to me and storing it offline using external storage device and also I have printed it out and deposited it in a safe box.

(IV)DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT?
Answer: Yes i do by following the below steps:

A. Having your account already logged in showing your profile page click on wallet.

B. In your wallet page on the STEEM part of your wallet click on the down arrow beside your balance.

C. From the options shown select transfer.

D. On the new page shown you now type in details necessary for the transaction.

(V)DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM?
Answer: Yes i do by following the steps below:
A. Having your account already logged in click on wallet.

B. Click on down arrow on the steem part beside your balance.

C. Select power up on the options shown.

D. On the new page shown then put in necessary details for the transactions.
