Hello everyone, I am happy to once again complete one of my achievement Task after a long while. This is because of how busy I have been with other important activities.

PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is the process of copying another individual work and ideas and then using it as your own creative work without giving credit to the original owner. This act is a very bad act and which is not encourage on this platform. This is just same as stealing since the owner isn't aware of you using the work.

We have various types of Plagiarism some of these are: Self Plagiarism, Global Plagiarism, Paraphrasing Plagiarism and Mosaic Plagiarism.

Self Plagiarism

This is the process or a type of plagiarism where the individual uses his own work which has been uploaded already in the past days to re-present it again. This plagiarism type is a moderate type of plagiarism.

Global Plagiarism

This is the type of Plagiarism where by the whole work of the individual is been stolen by another individual and then used as his original work. This toe is very serious and not moderate.

Paraphrasing Plagiarism
With this type, as the name implies the individual takes certain keys ideas from the work of another person and then use it to develop his work with giving the original owner credits.

Mosaic Plagiarism

This type of plagiarism entails the process in which the individual takes various ideas of other people work and then bringing them together without giving them credits.

We have certain Effects of Plagiarism, these include:

• Failure
• Refusal of work
• No remarks for work
• No Grades for work done.

CITATION

Citation is the process whereby credits is given to the original owner of certain ideas or works. This done by giving them special mentions in their work so as the readers know that the work was taken from certain sources.
Some styles used in Citation include: Modern language, Chicago Style, American Psychological and so on.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I think I understand how the act of plagiarism is a very bad act and therefore we need to refrain from every aspect of it. We have to give credits to people when we using their works so as to help us to be free from plagiarism.
