Greetings, fellow steemians! I've committed some time to learning the content etiquettes of steemit as part of my efforts to better understand how the steemit social network works, and I consider it an honor to share with you the content etiquette to be observed on steemit for our daily blogs and articles.
What is Plagiarism?
Plagiarism is defined as the complete or partial copying of specific articles, as well as the partial or complete stealing of other people's ideas and presenting them as their own or personal thoughts without properly crediting the source.

When do we commit plagiarism?
"Plagiarism can range from a basic deceptive imitation of another's work to a simple entire or partial copy of that work, usurping the author's condition or name."
It's a case of plagiarized work...
1.When we deliver someone else's work as if it were our own, whether it's a complete or partial copy.
2.When we paraphrase a text, we convey it in other words, changing the wording slightly to disguise it and not identifying the sources.
Present a work of ours that has already been used: this is referred to as "self-plagiarism."
3.When we copy any form of multimedia (images, audio, video, web pages, and so on), computer programs, music, graphics, and so on... without stating the name of the author
4.When we rely on a phrase or idea from someone else, it's called borrowing.
5.When we use someone else's concept or phrase to create a new work and don't credit the source.
What things can be plagiarized?
Cars, songs, films, poetry, monographs, brochures, sculptures, stories / stories, motorcycles, photographs, and the list goes on and on; basically, any type of information can be plagiarized as your own, compromising the moral / financial integrity of your "brain test" or intellectual property.
How to avoid plagiarism
Steemit will constantly reward us for our brain tests or intellectual property with tokens (steems) or SBD, which is why the incitement to intellectual property or ownership of the articles created is so important. When you utilize something, a term, or a definition that is not yours, you must name the owner by inserting the quoted text with quotation marks "__" and leaving the web glass source where the article / phrase / photo etc. was substrated.
If you have no other choice than to copy, get permission beforehand. Always cite texts: To avoid becoming a victim, you can cite a text within your post, as seen below.

I have cited this text by bringing the “>” before the cited text.

When you download an image from an external source, make sure to cite the source and, if applicable, the license. This can be done in the following format >> [source](image link), so that clicking the link will take you to the location where you downloaded it.
With that, my reader, I bid you farewell; I hope you find it beneficial.
My regards to @salamdeen for introducing me into steemit and the guidance.
