I got an opportunity to participate in one outdoor camping event organized by TSAF (Tata Steel Adventure Foundation) in Jamshedpur. This event was a part of ongoing leadership training for high potential employees in my current organization. The event was planned for Team Building activity - where the participants are divided into four teams. They need to perform some activities. Then they are given time to replan and do the same activities again. By that everyone understand the importance of proper planning, team effort and leadership.

While we were doing the activities, we found someone entered the camp premises. To our surprise, she is none other than Ms. Bachendri Pal. She was the first Indian woman to summit mount Everest in 1984. Ms. Bachendri Pal received the prestigious Padma Bhushan award from Government of India.

Till that day, we have seen her photo in television and newspaper only. We can't believe that she is actually there. She joined us in a small climb that was part of our activity and gave some tips. It was a great feeling getting tips for climbing from someone who had climbed the highest peak of the world.

She has also joined us in a photograph. That was an unexpected and unforgettable photo for me.
