Bishnupur is a city in the Bankura District. Bankura is in West Bengal state within India. Bishnupur is famous for it's terracotta temples. Apart from the terracotta temples, the city walls are also decorated by beautiful graffiti work by local artist. This activity was funded by Bishnupur Municipality.
This particular drawing style of human figure is known as "Bishnupuri Style".

The nearest airport to Bishnupur is the Kolkata airport (CCU). Bishnupur is well connected via railways and roadways.
