HOW MANY HOURS TO I SLEEP?

I welcome you all to my page. Its another exciting contest here in @steem-BRU and this time am here because of a contest hosted by @slon21veka. Thank you for having me.

This is really an interesting contest, although it sounds like a question which is actually true.

I joined this beautiful platform called steemit early this year, febuary and ever since then its been from one experience to another.

Steemit means different things to different people but i tell you i love steemit and i take and see it as a full time job.

After i joined steemit i realise that in other to do well here i must work hard and put in my time into it. Back then when i joined i would stay on my phone for hours, going through communities to see and learn what it was all about. Then i started with engaging in contest in several communities. I remember the first contest i got involved in this community was What does steemcurator01 looks like it was amazing. Hosted by @vik24

Am from Nigeria, normally once its 6:30 pm people retire to their various homes, shops and business people close up to go home. And by 8pm people start going to bed, so generally by 8pm you are to be sleeping. But i found out that ever since i joined steemit i cant remember the last time i slept by 8pm or before 8pm.

Medically, it is advised that humans should sleep for 8hours.. I sleep for 4hours at night since i joined steemit, especially the week am involved with cryptoacademy. Been a part of cryptoacademy, reading, researching and doing the homewok takes me nothing less than 10 hours a day. Now imagine if i have like two homeworks to do in a day? Thats already 20 hours. Wow! Am left with 4hours which is divided into my breakfast, bathing and brushing, lunch,dinner. By the time am done am only left with mayb 2-3 hours to sleep. I remember last week i stayed up all night without sleeping trying to do something on steemit. If am not doing cryptoacademy home for the week, am doing contest, or am making a random post, or am reading other peoples post, commenting, re-esteeming and so on. Its amazing that sometimes i dont even feel it that i have not slept for long while other times i feel it.

I believe steemit is work. Infact hard work and thats why i put in all my efforts to eat. But then it can be discouraging that i only sleep for 4hours and wont get a vote on the post. But you know what? I have learnt to move on, to try again, to persist and not to give up.
