Topic of the week #16 : Paradise Corner - Mauritius Island!

Oh well, how should I start!!!?

If you search for Mauritius on the net...the first word defining this Island is : PARADISE!!!

And you know what...I am from Mauritius!

Mauritius in itself is a piece of paradise actually...from the beautiful roads to the amazing beaches and the nature...everything is just amazingly beautiful!

Let me show you a little bit around before coming to my favorite spot where I love to go as many times as I can!

The Beaches

This beach is found in the north of the island named Grand Baie - I stayed there twice already since the beginning of this year with my whole family!

The apartment is just facing the ocean - you open your doors and the sea is waiting for you!

Another beach that I love is located in the South, at St Felix...everything is picture perfect there!

And the 3rd on my list for today's post is again situated in the south! Not a place for swimming but you get to admire the amazing waves and views!

La Roche qui pleure beach which is translated in : The Crying Rock!

The Road

One of my most favorite road to drive on is found in the south eastern part of the island, namely on the A10 road leading to Mahebourg village!

Whenever I feel a little bit stressed...this is where I go driving to feel better!

The trees on the side of this road make this place magical!

The Nature

Ah now to my favorite...the nature that is all around Mauritius!

This is the kind of place I name...paradise within paradise!

Just 5 minutes away from the airport of Mauritius...just by the roadside, you will find this beautiful place...

It is so peaceful over there...the greenery makes you feel so rejuvenated!

Minimum once a month, I bring my little family over there to spend some nice time!

It even became the favorite place for my daughter too, she just love it when we go there!

Perfect place to take some photos and have a nice picnic with the nice breeze and calmness of the nature!
