How Do I Prepare For The New Year? | Contest.

The New Year is around the corner and this is the time for reflection and making new plans. The New Year normally brings with expectations of a better year ahead and has people making various resolutions. The New Year is also a time for celebration and being thankful to God for taking us through the past year and helping us see the new year alive and well.

I have not prepared that much for New Year, I just have clothes that I hope to put on. I hope to spend sometime before New Year evening being grateful for 2021 for the blessings and lessons learnt. Then I plan on most probably starting the evening off with a heavy lovely meal and cocktails with friends. After the meal we can talk about goals for the next year and try to see how we can hold each other accountable. Then we proceed to celebrate by going to the club to dance the night away.

When New Year approaches we hope to be in an ambience where we get to watch fireworks and we can wish each other happy New Year. We would then look for more fun activities to do and then head home. Not sure what time we will be up the next day, but we plan to then go for prayers and then kick off the year.
