Something extremely unpleasant is the mistreatment of women, something that not so many years ago was seen as something normal in society, which among the roles that women had included being a punching bag.

Something intolerable.

Many people, including women, blame the woman herself for agreeing to be abused, but does she really accept it?

My answer is no, things are never that simple to explain, an abused woman does not continue with her abuser why she wants to, she is afraid, she is scared, she is afraid of the power that that person exercises over her, to that we must add the mental state of the woman, the control under which she was subjected for years, the dependency and the hope that she will change.

An abuser is not suddenly, she always has been, she gives signs, maybe not physical but there are clues, raising her voice, hitting the wall, belittling her partner. They are things that are seen and their meaning is achieved after the first blow.

Much courage and pride to all those women who have managed to escape and get up after a situation of violence and those who are still trapped, I wish you much strength and hope.

If someone is in such a situation, they should go to the emergency systems in their country, they are not alone and the first step is the most difficult but one day it could be too late.
