Actually, here there are different ways to go to the bathroom for a complete body wash, everything varies according to the family's custom or whatever the person chooses and feels comfortable with.

In my town, very few families have a bathtub, since they are very expensive and only those who have a good amount of money have them, which would be the upper class.

The middle class (where I am) have bathrooms with showers, this is where we bathe, a sink that is where we brush our teeth, and the toilet

The lower class or those who have few resources in the bathrooms have water pipes and with a cup they grab water and bathe apart that they also have the toilet

Bathing habits vary from person to person, some first wet their skin and exfoliate to remove dead skin and dirt, wash well, place soap all over the body, wash, apply the shampoo and return to to wash.
Other people just skip the exfoliation step.
