STEEM PLANTS COMPETITION week #7// Moringa
Warm greetings to the whole @Steem-BRU (BY-RU-UA) community. I am delighted to accept the invitation made by my friend @genomil to this contest organized by @knopka145 related to plants. My selected plant is the Moringa.
Moringa is one of the plants that gives shade to my home, and we as a family enjoy the benefits of it; it is characterized by being part of the group of medicinal plants, which we have used at some point, especially in these troubled times in which we live.
Moringa is considered by biologists and botanists as a natural antibiotic; besides being a plant that can be used for various situations, thanks to its medicinal properties. It improves muscular ailments, at the same time it contributes to build a solid immune system, essential in the fight against diseases. One of the principles of good health is to have a protected immune system. It has antioxidant and cardiovascular properties, which are very useful in the treatment of various diseases.
Moringa grows in all types of soil, even those that are arid. Sometimes it can grow up to 12 meters high, so I recommend those who are going to plant it to watch its growth, because if it grows in all its splendor it causes problems when it reaches the power lines, causing major damage in relation to electricity.
Another characteristic of the plant is that it has hanging branches, its leaves are light green. Approximately six to seven months after planting, it blooms white or cream colored. In addition to its flowers, it produces hanging pods, from which, when dried, dark brown seeds are extracted, which improve the energy levels of the person who consumes it as well as the immune system of that individual.
