Greetings,
Today’s topic of the week is a fair one and thanks to @slon21veka for organizing it. I would want to invite @starrchris, @vianneyspirit and @amazing-grace to take part.

A ghost is a soul or spirit of a dead person that appears to the living. Ghosts are souls so they don’t have a physical body.

I do not believe in Ghosts but I know they exist. In my high school I studied about life after death and I think, after death we start living as ghosts.
In most cases rituals are performed when someone dies so that his or her ghost is put to rest instead of letting it wander all over the world. These rituals are specifically for making the dead Rest In Peace and they include funeral rites, exorcism and spiritual rites.

Some ghosts appear for bad intentions such as revenge, whereas some appear in peace. Ghosts at times are a source of message to people. An example is hen someone dreams about the dead trying to communicate to them, it means that the spirits of the dead are communicating.

Ghosts have been in existence even in the early days. According to the Bible in the New Testament, Jesus died and rose again. He then appeared to his disciples as a ghost just like he had promised to return back to them after three days.

In these early times, Jesus taught people how to rebuke demons. Some ghosts appear as demons to destroy human kind. This is seen when Jesus drove out many demons from a young boy and sent them to black pigs that later ran off to the waters.

In Conclusion, ghosts do exist everywhere but we have the power to stop them. We have to pray to God for protection so that we are not destroyed by these wandering spirits.
