Who first told you about Bitcoin?

The first time I heard about Bitcoin was when I joined steemit. My country representative @yohan2on introduced me to Steemit and also mentioned about crypto currencies. He gave me and other people a task to make research on crypto currencies and mostly bitcoin. I googled and read about it and I talked about it with friends . This helped me start understanding what Bitcoin is, its price on coin market cap.com and I got to know the advantages of holding crypto currencies.

According to my research, I leant that Bitcoin was the first form of crypto currency that was launched in 2009 by an unknown person who is alleged to be Satoshi Nakamoto. It was created as a decentralized digital currency that uses cryptography to keep secure. The reason for its invention was to eliminate the centralized systems which are more faulty that the decentralized ones. Some of the reasons for its invention include;

• Bitcoin was invented to lower transaction fees because the online payment mechanisms were a little bit more costly.

•It was as well invented to facilitate purchasing of goods. For example in countries that clearly understand and use it, can buy goods such as furniture using Bitcoin.

In Conclusion, Bitcoin as a form of decentralized digital currency can be sold and bought without any middlemen involved.
