I am glad to be participating in this contest because it is another way of helping my fellow steemit friends who may not know how to draw attention from other users as yet. I thank @slon21veka for organizing it and @pixiepop for the invite.

Steemit is a platform where any user has the ability to earn and learn at the same time. Through this, a member can draw attention from different people both in a positive and negative way but it’s better to get attention while avoiding having a bad reputation.

Upvoting

Members should always read through other users’ posts and give them an upvote if there is no plagiarism. In this way, the voter becomes a curator and draws attention to the author and other curators who check out to see who voted for that particular post.

Being very active
Steemit users can draw attention to themselves and other users by keeping active on the platform. It can be through creating quality content more oftenly. The more a user posts quality content, the higher reputation he or she gets because of the upvotes they receive.

Tagging friends

When an author mentions his or her friends or any other random steemit users in a post, it helps them be known by others. It also creates friendship with people from various countries. Mentioning others in a post is a way of creating awareness to other users about a new post or contest that they can take part in.

This is another way of drawing attention from other users. When a person searches for your username, the first displayed page is your blog so if you blog your posts or other users’ posts, it is good because many people get to know and read through your posts.

When a user subscribes to a community and gets active, they earn a badge at times which says member, friend, delegator and others. This helps users know and notice you in any community as a way of drawing attention. It also helps you get more friends and upvotes.

Through commenting, users draw attention from various members because they get to be known. Commenting on other users’ posts is important because it keeps you active on the platform and at the same time be known by many people.
