I found this on a street in Kolkata, India. Me and my girlfriend siting beside the bank of river Ganga. Saw this beautiful depiction of Maa Kali.


Maa Kali, the Mother, destroyer of Evil.

The word "Kali" comes from a Sanskrit word meaning "time". Maa Kali is the timeless energy of Adishakti's pure, non-surfacing, timeless energy. She is revered as considered one of the wildest rigs to destroy man's pride. Her overly rage can destroy all three worlds.

She is also the goddess of Preservation. The Divine mother.
