Assalamu'alaikum Steemians...
Good evening my respected members of the Steem-Bru community. Introducing my name @hidayat96, On this occasion I am back to take part in the contest organized by @knopka145 with the theme: "Steem Plants Contest".
Previously I would also like to thank @knopka145 for supporting and inviting me to attend the contest he is organizing. I also want to invite my 3 best brothers, namely @lingkar-photo , @muhammadalzikra , and @sayaalan so they can join and participate in this contest .
Well, friends of the Steem-BRU community that I am proud of, below I will show some photos of flower plants in my house. Please friends see the picture below.
1. Temu Rapet or lock Pepet (Kaempferia rotunda)
Temu Rapet or Kunci Pepet (Kaempferia rotunda), or sometimes also called white turmeric is a kind of rhizome spice that is still closely related to kencur. In contrast to kencur, which is widely used as a cooking spice, the Temu Rapet plant is more specifically used for medicinal properties. Because the leaves are beautiful, meeting Rapet is also planted in the yard as an ornamental plant. Wikipedia

2. Aglaonema Pictum tricolor.
This plant is a sub-tropical shrub that comes from the species Aglaonema Pictum. Aglaonema pictum tricolor grows at an altitude of 1000-2000 meters on the slopes of volcanoes on the islands of Sumatra and Nias.
The species discovered by Carl Sigismund Kunth in 1841 has leaves with very unique colors and patterns in my opinion. The aglaonema pictum tricolor plant has speckled leaves with three colors, namely dark green, bright green, and white which makes it look like an army pattern. The leaves are oval in shape with a size longer and larger than the leaves of the aglaonema plant in general. In addition, the Aglaonema pictum tricolor plant also has stems with thicker wood. The characteristic of this Aglaonema tricolor plant makes it classified as one of the rare ornamental plants.
3. Water girlfriend (Impatiens balsamina)
According to Wikipedia, the water girlfriend plant (Impatiens balsamina) is a plant originating from South Asia and Southeast Asia, but was introduced to America in the 19th century. This plant is an annual or biennial plant and has flowers that are white, red, purple, or pink. The shape of the flower resembles a small orchid. The height of this plant can also reach one meter with thick but not woody stems and jagged edges.
This plant is also very favored by bees and other insects that help pollinate it. However, this plant cannot live in a dry environment. Water girlfriend can also live without roots, because the stems can suck water, but if the roots are removed, then this plant must be placed in a glass full of water or something. How to breed this plant is by spreading the seeds or by popping the fruit.

According to Wikipedia , Caladium bicolor or commonly called the Heart of Jesus is a species in the genus Caladium from Latin America. It is grown as an ornamental because of its large, heart-shaped or lance-shaped leaves with striking green, white, pink, and red patches.

5. Mother-in-law's tongue plant (Dracaena trifasciata)
According to what I read on Wikipedia, the plant Dracaena trifasciata is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native to tropical West Africa from eastern Nigeria to the Congo. It is most commonly known as the snake plant, Saint George's sword, mother-in-law's tongue and viper hemp bowstring.
