Helloooo. IS THE EARTH ROUND OR FLAT?? Interesting topic this week from @slon21veka so lets get into it. Oh well i strongly stand on the fact that the earth is ROUND like an egg(spherical) just as my geography teachers taught me and here are some points to back it up.

The time in Cameroon(my country) at the moment these words are written is 7:00pm.But in Toronto it’s 1pm that is 6hrs behind and in Sydney it 5am which is 10hrs ahead. There is always day somewhere and night somewhere. Why will there be so much time difference if we all were were on a flat surface???

There is also a saying of the higher you go the more you can see. As in the distance you will see when you climb maybe a tree or mountain is not the same if you didn't climb. If the earth was flat then you can see eveything at once.

Again if you have ever seen a lunar eclipse then you know the earth is round. Here, the earth passes between the moon and sun meaning the sun reveals the Earth’s shadow on the Moon in the night sky. The shadow of the earth on the moon is round obviously proving the earth is not flat.

Still having doubt??? Try watching the sunset one day while you lie down when you stand up as the last rays of sun disappear, then you should be able to see the sunset again. The same thing happens to ships as they sail away, the bottoms disappear first before the rest of it.

And lastly allll the other planets we have seen are round so earth CAN NOT BE FLAT.
