Graffiti Of My City No. 37 - Family

Hello once again. This is No. 37 of the contest Graffiti Of My City hosted by @slon21veka. The contest post can be found here for those who want to know more about this. You are all welcome to join.

Continuing once again with this long wall from the Kapitan Tomas Monteverde Elementary School, along Ponciano Reyes Street, Davao City, Philippines. This is the seventh installment of this wall which depicts ordinary aspects of life in the city and the province as seen through the eyes of 12 years old kids.

This time it is all about Family. In our culture the family is the basic unit of society. It is important to us to have a strong family ties that lasts for a lifetime and beyond. And this all begins with a strong bond between the mother and the father, which starts after marriage. This strong bond will lead to a strong foundation for the family to be able to withstand all the challenges of life, through thick or thin, in sickness or in health, till death do they part.

This is how the elementary school children view family in their minds.
