Graffiti Of My City No. 26 - Tribal Children in Street Art

Greetings everyone. We are now in No. 26 of this exciting contest, the Graffiti Of My City, hosted by @slon21veka. If you have not heard about this and would like to know more about it simply click on the link here. You are all invited to join.

In my last entry to this contest No. 25, (click here for the link), I featured some street art which I found along one section of the wall of the Davao City National High School, the premier public secondary educational institution in Davao Region. It is located along F. Torres Street, Davao City, Philippines. It is the biggest government run secondary educational school and I was certain that there would be other street art that can be found along the school's very long walls. So I went back again and to my pleasure, I found more murals and street art. And a whole lot of them! So I decided to share with you some of these. Not all. I will enter the rest in the future Rounds of this contest.

For this Round No. 26 my feature will now be on the children of our tribal ancestors.

These murals must have been painted by various local artists because my research did not result in any particular person responsible for them.

The next 2 photos are a close up of the first picture of this post. In these photos you can see clearly the names of those who donated money and other assistance to the school engraved on the wall. This is a common practice in our country where politicians and those aspiring to be one donate to schools so their names can be etched or engraved on the wall for people to see. It gives them exposure and publicity.
