Nacì en la controversial capital de Venezuela, Caracas, ubicada a los pies del Monte Ávila, hoy conocido como Waraira Repano. Caracas la ciudad de los techos rojos de la Billo's. Aunque nací en esta populosa urbe, desde muy pequeña me mude con mi familia al interior del pais, vivi un tiempo en el Estado Anzoátegui y los últimos 35 años de mi vida he vivido en el estado Monagas, cuya Capital es Maturìn, denominada también Sultana, pero del misterioso Río Guarapiche

Desde Caracas a Maturin se puede viajar por carretera, tomando la vía a Oriente saliendo por la Autopista Caracas-Guarenas. Más adelante se toma la carretera de la vía a Oriente y al llegar a Anzoátegui se toma el distribuidor de oriente antes de entrar a Barcelona y de allí la autopista hacia el sur vía Monagas.

From Caracas to Maturin you can travel by road, taking the route to Oriente leaving the Caracas-Guarenas Highway. Further on, you take the highway from the Via a Oriente and when you get to Anzoátegui you take the Orient interchange before entering Barcelona and from there the highway to the south via Monagas.

La distancia aproximada es de unos 502,6 kms. Son aproximadamente 7 horas de viaje en autobús. También se puede llegar por vía aérea, pues Maturín tiene un aeropuerto de categoría internacional. El vuelo son aproximadamente 20 minutos.
Si viajas por tierra desde Caracas, puedes observar el cambio de paisaje, primero de montañoso, pasas a un sistema semiárido de costa y luego tomando hacia el sureste ( vía Monagas) te encontrarás con una extensa regiòn de sabanas onduladas y sabanas de formación geológica muy antigua conocidas como 'mesas'. El viaje es muy interesante. Monagas es tierra de petroleo, ríos, morichales y sabanas.
