Sleep is a very important aspect of our lives.
Show me a man who is unhappy and I will show you a man that does not sleep for long.
It can never be business as usual without this aspect called sleep in our lives.

Research shows us that the most successful athletes rest from between 8 t0 12 hours.

Usain Bolt is considered the greatest sprinter of all time. When asked what he considers to be the most important part of his daily training regime he responded with — sleep.imagesource

Bolt sleeps for 8 to 10 hours per night and he is not alone. Roger Federer gets 11 to 12 hours sleep per night. Lebron James gets 12 hours of sleep per night.imagesource

I would love to follow suit.

During day, I hardly take any sleep, I may have a nap between 30 minutes to an hour especially now that I am student, a mother, a wife and a steemian.

Each office I hold here has its unique responsibilities that require my input. Most times I get done with the day’s work by midnight and usually wake up by 7:00am in the morning.
However, with my busy schedule, I cannot deny myself the urge to rest whenever need arises. One time the woman of God, *Joyce Meyer once preached about Rest on Faith TV *said, someone once wrote in a book and said "that if you do not rest, one day you will pay for it".
This points to the aspect of sleep.

I cannot forget my experience as a new mother nursing my baby. I could hardly get any sleep, i developed dark circles around my eyes. My siblings said I looked way older than my age.

So, we can only perform as much as we sleep.
