Greetings fellow steemians in the steem-BRU(BY-RU-UA) community. Hope we're all doing good today by God's grace.

I am so glad to participate in this contest No54; Who controls the household budget, organised by @slon21veka presented by @annettenoel.

What is household budget?
A household budget is a plan for your household’s incoming and outgoing money over a certain period of time, such as a month or year. For example, you may aim for certain dollar amounts or percentages of your combined monthly income to go toward various expenses, like groceries, as well as saving, investing and paying off debt.Source

Who controls the household budget?
There is always a lot of confusion when it comes to who has to control the household budget, whether the husband or the wife as people would talk from their various points of view. Controlling household budget is a very important tool in building a successful family.
From my own point of view, the husband and the wife have equal roles as far as household budget is concerned. Sitting and planning the family budget together as a couple is very important.There is an undeniable bond between parents and their children, and while both genders nowadays have opportunities to make money to contribute to the family’s expenses.

The wife's role in household budget management

A mother carries a heavier and more burdened feeling in managing the family. Most women take a huge financial role in the household in the form of budgeting.
The man may take the role of the financial provider, but even in households where both spouses have an income, women more often take the role of allocating which funds go where; grocery shopping, the children’s school money , equipping the house and many others.
Mothers build a huge percentage of the children's moral attitudes towards life and towards each other.
Management of finance when it comes to feeding, preparing meals for the family and taking the children to school.

The husband's role in budget management

Financial provision is a very important role of the husband in the household.A committed father is compelled to contribute to his children’s well being, paying child support, or in the case where the father is not working,he takes care of the children while the wife earns the family salary.
The father equally plays a role in planning for the Future through wise financial management and preparing for the future.
Handling the costs of today and tomorrow. Children bring many expenses to the family budget, which tend to increase as they grow, some of which include how much is spent on diapers, clothes, food, child care, medical bills, more clothes, and so on.Teaching kids to handle money, by talking with the children about money and the right attitude about it.

In my family for example, my parents participate almost equally in household budget management with an application of almost all of the above mentioned points. So at this point, I stop to prove the fact that the household budget is managed equally by the husband and wife, as both plan and participate in the day to day management of the household and well as plan for the future of the family.
