Agradecida a @slon21veka , por este concurso que nos permite evaluar porque queremos ver una y otra vez una misma película , ya sea porque nos divierte, porque el género nos atrapa o por la profundidad de la trama, que nos permite ver desde otra óptica una determinada situación o simplemente porque nos gusta cualquiera que sea la razón

Como ya verán por la foto que antecede a este escrito mi película favorita y que cada vez que puedo verla lo hago, ya que pude adquirirla en versión para DVD, y cuando alguna cablera que pasa películas en blanco y negro se acuerda de proyectar esta tremenda película “Kill a Mockingbird”, o por el título que le dieron en Venezuela “Matar a un Ruiseñor”.

La vi cuando tenia unos once años, y me dejo realmente impactada, primeramente, la vi con fastidio porque a esa edad es difícil comprender la profundidad de esa trama, más cuando en mi país esas diferencias raciales no suelen verse, quizás las diferencias pueden mas enfocarse a las diferencias de clases por el tema económico o lo que llamarían los expertos quien posee los medios de producción y riqueza.
Pero lo que realmente me lleva a verla fue la unión del verbo con la acción, lo que piensa y siente el personaje es lo que lo lleva actuar, sin traicionar sus principios y manteniendo el respeto por si mismo y por los demás.
Fue protagonizada, por el excelente actor Gregory Peck en el papel de Atticus Finch, un sencillo abogado que vive en Alabama, sitio donde transcurre la trama, que, por ser una persona de altas virtudes y honestidad, se le plantea la defensa de un afrodescendiente quien era acusado de violar a una chica blanca. Este abogado tiene dos hijos, una niña y un varón preadolescente a quienes intenta educar desde el ejemplo y especialmente desde la honestidad de defender lo que uno cree más allá de las consecuencias. Es la niña es la que cuenta la historia desde su propia visión y sencillez

Esta película data del año 1962 y tiene la característica de haber sido incluida en la lista de las “Cien mejores películas estadounidense”, fue dirigida por Robert Mulligan, cuyo guion fue creado por Horton Foote, tomando como base la novela de la escritora Harper Lee.
Finalmente, y lo que he tratado de aplicar en mi vida es la frase que Atticus le dice a sus hijos “Para entender o criticar a otro ser humano hay que estar en sus zapatos y caminar con ellos, solo así sabemos donde le aprieta el mismo” .

Grateful to @slon21veka , for this contest that allows us to evaluate why we want to see again and again the same movie, either because it entertains us, because the genre catches us or because of the depth of the plot, which allows us to see from another perspective a certain situation or simply because we like whatever the reason is

As you can see by the picture that precedes this writing my favorite movie and that every time I can see it I do it, since I could acquire it in DVD version, and when some cablera that shows black and white movies remembers to project this tremendous movie "Kill a Mockingbird", or by the title they gave it in Venezuela "Matar a un Ruiseñor" (To Kill a Mockingbird).
I saw this movie when I was about eleven years old, and I was really shocked, first of all, I watched it with annoyance because at that age it is difficult to understand the depth of that plot, especially when in my country those racial differences are not usually seen, perhaps the differences can be more focused on class differences by the economic issue or what the experts would call who owns the means of production and wealth.
But what really made me watch it was the union of the verb with the action, what the character thinks and feels is what makes him act, without betraying his principles and maintaining respect for himself and for others.
This film starred the excellent actor Gregory Peck in the role of Atticus Finch, a simple lawyer living in Alabama, where the plot takes place, who, being a person of high virtues and honesty, is asked to defend a man of African descent who was accused of raping a white girl. This lawyer has two children, a girl and a pre-adolescent boy whom he tries to educate by example and especially from the honesty of defending what one believes in regardless of the consequences. It is the girl who tells the story from her own vision and simplicity.
