BATHING CUSTOMS Of MY PEOPLE

I live in the Greater part of Ghana. Bathing is good for the body. It helps smoothen the body and keeps our body fit. The bathing customs of my people:

Soap, sponge, buckets and towels are used for bathing in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. The bucket will be filled with either hot or cold water depending on the weather.

Carry it inside the bathroom and start bathing by using the sponge and the soap, like smashing the soap on the sponge and scrub it on the body thoroughly.

Raise the the body with the water in the bucket continuously until the soap on the body all are washed out. The towel is used to clean the water in the body and make it dry.
