In our family, we have some established customs and traditions. It ranges from everyday activities to numerous social and cultural events.

First and foremost, when it comes to eating, everyone in my family has to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. When family members are preoccupied with their task and are unable to complete it for some reason. It is necessary to ensure that everyone participates in at least one meal, whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

My parents believe that it creates an opportunity to have a family time, knowing their day to day updates and gaining a deeper understanding of one another. It improves the bond between them.

Second, everyone should participate in and enjoy parties such as birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries that encourages to better social relationships. Apart from that, planning a family picnic is something that is done for recreational purposes to get rid of monotonous daily activities.

When it comes to tradition, we have some that have been passed down from generation to generation. It began to change after being exposed to the modern world. But I'd like to draw attention to a few of them. For example, there is a trend to marry just inside one's own city's population. Getting married in other locations is not a good idea.There are numerous stages to a wedding, such as henna day, turmeric day, wedding day, reception, and so on. This is only one example.So this is one of the examples of tradition.

Last but not least, when a baby is ready to be born, there is a baby shower, followed by the birth day, the weaning day, the first walking day celebration, and so on.

In our community, including my family, there are many more rituals and traditions. Hopefully, it will be included the next time.
