The Contest; "THE BOOK I AM READING" - "HOW TO RAISE AN AMAZING CHILD THE MONTESSORI WAY" by Tim Seldin

Hello my beautiful Steemit friends!

Hope you all are safe amidst this ongoing plague throughout the world. Today, it is my great pleasure to see a contest which is totally applicable to me. Coz, as these days are lockdown due to prevailing epidemic, so we are at home and I’m trying to embrace my childhood hobbies at my spare time.

Hence, I have started to allure my bookworm life and these days I’m reading the book of "How to raise an amazing child the Montessori way" by Tim Seldin. I could not able to buy that book due to the lockdown and ergo decided to read its e- book by downloading it from the internet.

So, this is my wonderful entry about enticing and very informative book; "How to raise an amazing child the montessori way" which every parent need to be read.

I used to read its pdf by using my mobile phone and this is how its cover page looks like.

Absolutely, this book is an guide for each and every parent about how to build up confidence, independence, creativity in your kid’s soul by using Montessori learning techniques. This book is filled with very creative Montessori learning activities which can do at our home also. Those Montessori activities will benefit to raise independent, forward, creative and self-reliant child in future.

It starts with how to handle new born baby and guide the readers, how to raise that baby as a confident child. As my opinion every child is born with an incredible human potential and if an adult will give correct support and stimulation at correct time, indeed we can raise their born potential. This book supports you to accomplish it.

Seldin further expresses that children have sensitive periods for their learning and during this time, they learn from the environment which they are closed to.

As Seldin says, children are fast learners and they pay attention to what we are saying and how we are saying it. Thereafter they are started to follow us. So he further says that, as parents we have a huge responsibility to do good things that will help to build confidence among them.

Tim Seldin tells that, children are good explorers and so they need to be given freedom to explore their world. It explicit how a child’s brain develops and what we can do to trigger it as a parent. He elaborates how to convert our home as child friendly and how to adapt our home to a growing child.

Furthermore, he describes how can we build sensory awareness among them by engaging them with simple sensory activities. He tells that, sensory play is the key thing to build independent and confident child. As Tim says a child’s sensory education begins at their birth. Hence, he highlights the importance of doing sensory play even to a new born. This book is filled with many sensory activities described by him to every stage of child.

Additionally, he spoke about how to manage child tantrums which every parent will deal with. Every parents are worried thinking about how to develop discipline among their children. No doubt, this book will be a great guide for that. Also, there are many tips about how to manage screen time of your child.

Therefore, now you all can understand, how valuable if you can read this book. Me as a reader of this book would like to recommend this book to each and every parent, coz as a parent, I learned much from it and I’m sure that, it will help to raise my little one as a very independent, creative and confident personality someday.
