The City, The Darkness And The Missing Tale
It was the day of the blood moon as the skies and the water looked hunted. The letter from the grand maester of the hidden keep had spread around the cities. Everyone was instructed to stay at home while the brave knights of the land stayed on guard to protect the city. The last blood moon was over 300 hundred years ago. Tales from the purge terrifies the young and the old. An indescribable great evil that set the land and flesh to waste.
The reason for the attack is unknown. Legend has it that the blood moon was a curse to humans for the evil they had committed. Others say it was Dracula while some claim they were demons from the underworld. The day of the blood is a day without the sun but the full moon in crimson like mercury.
As the brave men kept watch over the longest day of the city. One person remained unnerved, his name is Vandel Starr. He is popularly known as the bastard of the city of Rock Ridge. His origin unknown but he had the mark of the underworld on his chest when he was found by the late Maester Vandel. The old man was kicked out of the Citadel as they thought he was crazy. He spoke about an unwritten prophesy that a child with auburn hair born of demon and human will save the world. He raised the baby he found by the river bank as his own. He protected him, trained him and kept his powers a secret. He lost his seat at the city council because he chose to raise the child. Young Vandel is the only one crazy enough to go beyond the forbidden lines where monsters and demons ravaged. His adventures and slaying of evil to protect the town were never know. The city recorded an all-time low of attacks but it went unnoticed.
Somewhere in a castle, the demon lord invited the league of darkness for an emergency meeting. They have waited for this day. A day they could roam freely in the day without the fear of the sun. The day their powers were at a peak. They have been at war with humans for decades. Then there was silence in the halls. As they await the instructions from the Dark demon lord. Echoes and vibrations from the catacombs sent vibrations throughout the castle.
The 3 headed gigantic dog gifted by hades was chained and fed human flesh for decades in preparations for battle. The eyes of the hound were lit with fire and its tale and skin were of a dragon. Then there was silence again as the Dark Lord cleared the air with a controversial statement.
“I have called you all today to bring an end to the war with the humans. I believe we can share this world with them to live in peace”
A great pandemonium befell in the hall.
