The last snow is here!@tasrin94

March is known to be the last time of year for hiking. Everyone knows that the weather can change quite quickly, but so quickly?Last week probably the last snow on the mountains!

On the first day of nice weather, however, the frosty 8 degree didn't stop us. The hike to the Schwarzsee was on the program. Since I went this hike every month starting in the spring, I was already looking forward to the landscape in the snow!

Surprisingly only one guest has registered for the hike – that's was my Husband. He was highly motivated and looking forward to a day with a private transfer and private hiking guide. The snow-covered "Mirnock" in the direction of the Nockberge.

After arriving at the Lärchenboden car park, we laced up our hiking boots. The hiking trail leads along a rooty path right through a kind of magic forest. Even the children were always enthusiastic about this hike in summer because they discovered so many rhinestones and garnets on the ground.

Arriving at the Schwarzseehütte, we were already trudging through the snow.The reward awaited us on the high plateau - an unbelievable view of the snow-capped mountain. Who knows, may be this was last snow for this year.

Like every season, this one has something very special about it. The hustle and bustle of the guests and alpine cows that usually prevailed on this high plateau. Just we - and nature in all its beauty.

We then decided to stop off at the Schwarzseehütte on the way back and fortify ourselves with delicious regional products before heading back.
