World Refugee Day

Hello friends how are you all doing today I hope all is well and you all are having a nice and wonderful day, today I will be taking part in a contest organise by @ripon0630 which is titled "World Refugee Day"

According to my own personal knowledge the word refugee simply refers to a certain set of people who have been forced to leave their homes or country in search for new shelter somewhere else as a result of war, political or economic disruption.

And as we all know that June 20 is marked as world refugees day and even in our country we normally celebrate 🥂 it like the rest of the world but not as noted as we celebrate Christmas, Ramadan, Easter etc.

According to my research I have found out that as of mid 2024 Iran was the only country in the world that had the highest amount of number of refugees which was a total of 3.8 million refugees.

The current situation in Iran is so hectic and terrible as they are still fighting war against the Israelites which they still continue to exchange strikes and also their current regime continues to punish any activists, religious and ethnic minorities movement for any form of peaceful activities, preventing right to freedom of expression and according to the news thousands of prisoners are still in hold.

Hmmm, children who are misfortunate enough to experience this are psychological and emotionally traumatized because as a refugee they won't have access to education because they will be on a journey in search for shelter.

Children who are refugees won't have the opportunity to experience tender care from their parents and also they will experience lots of malnutrition which to some might result in death.

It is never a persons dream to become a refugee so what I would like to tell them as a message of hope would be I form of a parable with so much meaning;

• Sometimes the greatest victory comes with the greatest losses
• Life doesn't give you oceans without waves
• Keep you face always to the sun and the shadows will fall behind you
• Sometimes the wrong train takes us to the right destination
• The light shines even though the light is gone

In the above five lines are so many message that is capable of restoring hope to the heart of a refugee in search of paradise.
