Since boarding the flight to Dubai, the notion has been constantly going through my thoughts. When you stand on the roof of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest structure, does it feel as though it brushes the sky? Who knows! I am currently in a different state of excitement. I can see the Burj Khalifa after a while! After seeing this structure, I concluded that the entire tour was pointless since I hadn't seen the Burj Khalifa while visiting Dubai. But you need to spend some cash to rise beyond it. Burj Khalifa has 206 floors. Among them, the ticket price for about 100 feet is from 160 to 250 dirhams (3 thousand 680 taka to 5 thousand 750 taka). If you want to go up to 160 floors, you must spend more dirhams with
permission. The official website of Burj Khalifa has detailed information on buying tickets online. However, even if more than the money is needed, there is no problem; the beauty around the building also inspires fascination.

The highest mosque is on the 158th floor. The 6 lakh square feet building can hold more than 12,000 people at a time. Burj Khalifa has 54 elevators. They have a top speed of 40 mph.
Our journey to Burj Khalifa started on September 17 from Hotel Atana. We boarded the metro rail from Dubai Inter City

Metro Station. We needed a metro card. I quickly bought a 50 dirham (1150 taka) card. You must take a card to travel by bus or metro rail in this city. Minimum 15 dirham (Tk 850) card available. There is a facility to recharge the card when the money runs out.

Our destination is Burj Khalifa, but Dubai Mall is seen before that. This mall has shops for all the famous brands of the world.

The trip in the elevator up the Burj Khalifa was breathtaking. It is a surprise. The journey to the 124th floor took me a minute. I feel like Spider-Man. The elevator can accommodate 30 people at once. More buttons appear in the period of a single blink, and everyone reaches their destination in 60 seconds.
Before getting over the surprise, surprise again. The whole city of Dubai is in front of my eyes! The town is bright, with yellow, red, and green lights. We stopped at the 124th and 148th floors of this 160-storey building. No one lives from 160 to 206 feet. These floors are used for technical purposes.
Buyers must pay an average of 37 thousand 500 USD (31 lakh 45 thousand taka) per square meter to buy each room in the luxurious building. Americans' preference for residence in the Burj Khalifa is particularly noteworthy. The 9th to 16th floor of this building has been allotted for them.

The film 'Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol' released in 2011, was shot at Burj Khalifa Tower. A stunt performed here by Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise was a hit. I remembered that movie scene when I went up to the 124th floor. The sight goes far, far away from the transparent glass walls.
By ascending the stairs from the 124th floor, one can reach the 125th floor. Both the floors have various facilities for the tourists. Burj Khalifa Tower souvenirs are available to buy here. Residents of buildings see the sun earlier in the day than residents in flats. They get to see the sun even at the end of the day, which is more than the inhabitants of the plains do.

Several well-decorated gardens surround the entire lower part of the Burj Khalifa. There is also a walking trail there. Outside the building, a beautiful park can be seen. The building is surrounded by 7.4 acres of beautiful gardens and 30 acres of artificial lake. Among them is the world's longest artificial water fountain 'Dubai Fountain'. Its design is modelled after the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas, USA. 15 There is a water dance show every minute. Thousands of people who come to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa stand around the lake and enjoy this view. We also stood in that crowd—Arabian music played at the beginning. I found a lot of harmony with the melody of Arabic Rajini. The dancing of the water to the rhythm of that tune is mesmerizing.

America's Wet Enterprises made this artificial shower for 217 million dollars. It is located next to the main entrance of Burj Khalifa. 6 thousand 600 colourful electric lights illuminate this fountain of clear blue water at night. This spectacular water fountain can shoot up to 490 meters high.
The abundant Burj Khalifa will be overtaken in a few years by another high-rise building in Dubai, 'Creek Harbor Tower'. Its height is 3 thousand 45 feet. Already 17 km away from Burj Khalifa, its construction is nearing completion. Its work started in October 2016.
