ASSALAM O ALEQUM

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Today Im taking part in new week challenge SEC-S17W1: "Season of My Country" organized by the steem for Bangladesh Community. Our topic for today is seasons.

A season is a specific period when the weather follow a particular pattern. This happens because the Earth tilt and move around the Sun. Because of this different places have different seasons at different times. For instance some places have hot summers while others have cold winter depending on where they are and what time of year it is.

How many seasons in your country? Which one is your favorite and why?

I am from Pakistan and we have four seasons spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season has its own special qualities that make our country unique. Pakistan weather change from place to place because of how high up the land is how close it is to the sea and which way the wind usually blows. I like spring the most in Pakistan. It's not too hot or cold and everything looks fresh with flowers blooming and lots of green plants. There's a happy feeling in the air. It's so much fun and add to the joyful atmosphere. Spring is perfect for spending time outdoors like having picnic or going for hikes. It the best time to enjoy Pakistan natural beauty to the fullest.

If there was one season you wanted to skip forever, what would it be? Explain why.

Each season is a gift from Allah and they all have their own special meaning. But if I had to choose I'd probably skip summer. I dont like it because its too hot. The heat and humidity make it hard to do everyday things comfortably. Plus it can make you feel really sick like when you get dehydrated or overheated.

I dont like sweating the most in summer because it causes a disgusting smell. However I enjoy taking cold baths to cool down and eating ice cream to beat the heat. In summer because of the heat our skin get damaged and become dehydrated. This lead to problems like dryness, sunburn and even heat rashes which i dont like. Summer has its good side too. Summer means vacation time and fun outside. You can do lots of things outside during summer like swimming, surfing, hiking and camping.

Describe a traditional or special activity that people in your country do at certain times of the year.

In Pakistan celebrating Eid al-Fitr is a common tradition. It's a happy time when families and friend get together to celebrate the end of Ramadan. During Eid people take part in special activities to enjoy the occasion. Eid al-Fitr is also called Meethi Eid.

Eid al-Fitr is like a special present after Ramadan. It a time to celebrate and feel rewarded for fasting, praying and thinking deeply during Ramadan. Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr by praying together enjoying big meal, giving gifts and spending time with loved ones. Its a happy time for everyone

Are there any special foods or drinks that people in your country enjoy most during certain seasons? If so, what is it and why?

During Eid al-Fitr, sweet treats like sheer khurma and various types of sweets are enjoyed. Sheer khurma is a traditional dish that is often served after the Eid al-Fitr prayer as part of the celebration. if talk about seasons then in summer we enjoy refreshing drinks like lemonade and ice cream to keep our temperature low. Furthermore refreshing drinks like lassi and sherbet are popular choices during the spring season. I also enjoy seasonal fruits such as mangoes, strawberries and guavas.

Salam...

Terima kasih atas perhatian dan dukungannya.

Greetings and dear I am very happy to see your entry I am very happy to see your presentation very informative post you also belong to Pakistan and I am also a Pakistani as we are well aware of the properties of nouns. And four seasons are found in our country, this is a special blessing of Allah Almighty. Spring is likeable because it is neither too cold nor too hot i.e. it has a moderate climate which is a good symbol.
@mona01
