What happened to you is really sad. Losing such an expensive laptop is a big problem as a student. I remember when I was studying in SSC level, my English private teacher used to conduct weekly tests for us but did not charge any money for the tests. .He used to say that you don't earn any money during your student life, so spending 10 rupees at that time is a big deal. So from this point of view, I understand your point.
