To know about Mark Down we must first know what is Mark Down and why is it used?

Using Markdown

What is Markdown?

Mark down is the use of code that we can use to write the text of the post in different ways and in different styles. The correct and beautiful usage of these codes is known as Mark Down.

The post I'm making this post with is here . I present to you the markdowns that we use for the heading of the post.

Text

There are many systems or codes you can use with text. There are different types of codes for text. You can justify your text when writing an estimate post.

Justify text

<div class="text-justify">
Our small river flows in a meandering way In the month of Baisakh his knees are watery. Cows cross, cars cross, Two sides high wire, sloped wire crossing. The sand is fine, there is no mud, On one side, the kasban blossoms are white. Chirping there the flock of the Shalik, The barking of jackals from the night. And across, Ambon Talbon runs, Under the shadow of the dwarfs of the village. On the shore, the boy and the girl are always together They pour water on the towel. Kavu Nawa in the morning and afternoon They catch small fish by straining. Sand the dishes, sand the bells, Brides take off their clothes and do housework. In the name of Ashadhe Badal, the river is overflowing Matia runs dry. There is a great uproar, Pucks spin around in murky water. In two corners, the response falls in the forest, The neighborhood wakes up in the rainy season.

Code usage will follow:

Our small river flows in a meandering way In the month of Baisakh his knees are watery. Cows cross, cars cross, Two sides high wire, sloped wire crossing. The sand is fine, there is no mud, On one side, the kasban blossoms are white. Chirping there the flock of the Shalik, The barking of jackals from the night. Command to separate/align text in two cells :

When writing a post it is necessary to write in two languages or in two cells. In that case, I will adopt the following method:

<div class="pull-left">

the headline

The opening part of the post is very important which shows the importance and scope of your post in some detail so the headline is very important. Attracts attention

There are two methods of creating headlines।

  • First headline।

Increase the number of hashtags in front of sentences or words Using # will make the sentence bigger and bolder. The more hashtags # you use, the shorter the sentence or word will be.

example:

headline 1

headline 2

headline 3

headline 4

headline 5
headline 6

The above headlines are generated using the following code।

# headline 1
## headline 2
### headline 3
#### headline 4
##### headline 5
###### headline 6

  • Second headline.

Another way to create headlines (H1 and H2 only)

Instead of using the hashtag # code, you can use three dashes or any three symbols below your headline or title. Let's say your headline is "Using Markdown" then

Use of Markdown

Special Note : You can strike the headline center, italic, if you want. Example:

  • Centered Headline # <center>Using Markdown</center>
  • Italic Headline#Use of Markdown`
  • Strike Headlines#Use of Markdown& Use of Markdown
  • How to insert text in the middle:

    You need to add this command <center>Enter text here</center>

    How to add links

    You can add clickable links if you want. This will increase the beauty of your post and make the post informative.

    • When we add a name to Steemit, we use @ before that name. As a result we can visit that account only if we click on the name. (to enter mostofajaman's steemit page) @mostofajaman
    • When we add a link it is automatically recognized and clickablehttps://steemit.com/@mostofajaman > > https://steemit.com/@mostofajaman
    • We can hide links behind words or sentences
      [link to my name ](https://steemit.com/@mostofajaman) Results >>
      link to my name

    Table

    You can create tables in two ways. I'll show you the easy way

    Easy Ways to Create Tables

    Copy and paste the command given below and insert headers and cells as needed.

    Header 1 | Header 2
    --------- | ----------
    Cell 1 | Cell 2

    For line breaks

    There are times when we need an extra line break between sentences.
    We use <br> this code for extra line breaks.

    <img src="" srcset="https://steemitimages.com/640x0/https:/ /cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmc6RQB8ji1tQh59q33kNvP75HGCqAoWfyh957pnmioneV/videos.jpg 1x, >

    How to add videos :

    Sometimes we need to use videos and gifs in our posts so let's show you the code we use to use them.

    From YouTube

    You don't need to do much in the case of YouTube videos. Adding a YouTube video link to a post makes it a link by itself.

    Example:

    https://youtu.be/jaGm2al9QrA

    Results:

In case of gifs

Do the same for gifs. Use the <center> command to center gifs in posts.

https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeG9YfmtqPHxVreRXa3mvZBhK7boiK9mohx3bRYFoWtoX/chipstop-tom-and-jerry.gif

Special Note: You need to find and use the url of your gifs with link.gif

How to align images :

You can center, right and left align your images.

In case of aligning the image left:

<div class="pull-left">
https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQme3c1gEM3eKBFabSQj2hwireY1h68r5ZMN8PRREjSitfv/How%20to%20Apply%20Markdown.png
</div>
text below

This is the output of the above code.
If you display the image on the left, the text will go to the right.
This will reduce the image size by 1/2
More text can be found here
And more...

In case of aligning the image to the right:

<div class="pull-right">
https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQme3c1gEM3eKBFabSQj2hwireY1h68r5ZMN8PRREjSitfv/How%20to%20Apply%20Markdown.png
</div>
text below

This is the output of the above code.
If you display the image on the right, the text will go to the left
This will reduce the image size by 1/2
More text can be found here
And more... ----

Code for center aligning image :

<center>https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQme3c1gEM3eKBFabSQj2hwireY1h68r5ZMN8PRREjSitfv/How%20to%20Apply%20Markdown.png</center>

This is the output of aligning to the center, it does not resize the image.

Use of the latest code.

Many times we see some markdown in a post and the question arises in our mind.. How did he do that!
It is possible to see the code in every steemit post, all we have to do is enter the link by replacing (it) with steemit (d) in the post link.
