SEC-S17W1: "Season of My Country"

summer time in Venezuela.
A big greeting to everyone and congratulations on this new season and with a theme that we must raise awareness of the planet's climate and face the consequences. This is how my participation begins.
How many seasons in your country? Which one is your favorite and why?
In our country Venezuela, we have two climatic seasons and they are: summer and winter, the latter is characterized by rain in different areas; Compared to others, there are parts where the rains intensify and there are parts where they simply pass.
Now the summer is the most intense and that we have had for a long time, it is the one that is pronounced, it is the one that is felt the most, all the vegetation is burned as shown in the photo, the levels of the rivers decrease and a endless modifications in the environment that make it a hot tropical area.
To be honest, winter has its advantages: a cool cold climate, beautiful vegetation; but I have gotten used to summer because I wear lighter clothes, I hydrate more, I live inside or under the shadows and it makes me enjoy certain things a little more that I can't in winter, I don't get sick, I prepare different smoothies or exclusive drinks for what summer is, of tropical fruits among others.
If there was one season you wanted to skip forever, which one would it be? Explain the reason.
Apart from that, since the water levels are low, the hydroelectric dams cannot cope with the service. And then well we have this poor quality, it would be the one I would skip, but not forever because climates exist for a reason so that there is a balance on the planet and our lives.
Describe a traditional or special activity that people in your country do during a particular season.
For the months of November and December, which are usually rainy and cool, people prepare for the start of Christmas and everything related to it, food, decorations, Christmas expenses... you feel a very tasty cold that They call him "Pacheco" but he doesn't usually last long.
Another season that is also quite frequented and that Venezuelans make it iconic, is when we are in the summer of Easter or carnivals, since many go to the rivers, to cool off on the beach, a mountain, a ravine or lagoon, to share with family, food, (fish, soup, cassava...) among others! Those are the two that resonate the most, precisely one for winter and one for summer.
Are there any special foods or drinks that people in your country enjoy most during certain seasons? If so, what is it and why?
At Christmas there are special drinks like cream punch, fruit punch and in the summer people look a lot for what tamarind is to make juice, it is the season for fruits like pinche, pineapple, that would be more than all some of the which are one of the drinks used in these two seasons.
The types of climate or the different seasons always vary in the culinary or gastronomic part of a country, there are customs and traditions that have been inherited, there are new customs that must be given continuity to the traditions that are from our ancestors; But climate changes are becoming much more pronounced and well, it is up to us to make the difference of following them or not, or looking for something new. This is my steemians participation.

Dear, Your country Venezuela has two seasons as I found out from reading your post. winter and summer. The importance of each season is different in nature. My country has six seasons. I don't like the summer season because of the extreme heat and natural calamities. Your writing is very beautiful. Good luck to you.

Dos temporadas amiga donde el invierno se siente en muchas partes y como dices con gran intensidad y en otras partes pasa rapido, si el verano es el que mas se siente y dura muchos meses y se siente ese gran calor y el sol super fuerte.
Unas temporadas maravillosas amiga lo que es navidad disfrutar de la tradicion que no falta en la mesa de los venezolanos.

One is different from other. Nature changes it look in every season. By reading you post I come to know that there are two seasons in your country. Some like most winter and some like other seasons but I nothing dislike because every seasons is important for us and the hottest season of your country is summer.The temperature is high in this time. Así mismo amiga estos dos climas son necesarios y cada uno tiene sus grandes ventajas y desventajas lo único es que a veces se pone más intenso el verano pero que te puedo decir en parte somos los culpables por tanta contaminación, ya cuando estamos acostumbrados andar con ropa fresca como que molesta tanto trapos encima 🤭 jaaa te entiendo me gustaron tus fotografias!
