RE: SEC-S17W1: "Season of My Country"
Yes in Nigeria, we are blessed with two distinct seasons which are the rainy season and the dry season. The rainy season, from range April to October, which is suitable for farming and agriculture, while the dry season, from November to March, is a time for harvesting and gathering crops. In Nigeria, the rainy season is a time of abundance, with fresh produce like vegetables, fruits, and yams being enjoyed by many. Traditional activities during this season include the celebration of the new yam festival, a cultural event observed across different tribes in the country.
