How many seasons in your country? Which one is your favorite and why? |

There are two seasons in my country, Nigeria. That's the rainy and dry seasons. The rainy season is characterised by heavy downpours, especially in the east and southern part of the country, known as the rain forest zone. It's also characterised by wind and storm and cold weather. This season starts from the month of March to September and, in most cases, November.

Meanwhile, the dry season is a period of heat which is caused by the heat of the sun. The sun is usually scourging in the northern part of Nigeria and the heat temperature is usually high in the region due to its closeness to the Saharan desert. The dry season is usually characterised by harmattan. The harmattan usually comes first before the heat period.
During the harmattan period, it's usually cold and breezy. By this time, the leaves of trees will dry up and fall. This may take from October in the northern part of the country and then November and December in the east and southern part.
As part of the dry season, you'll also find everywhere being dusty due to the absence of rain. The entire period of the dry season can take from October, as is the case, maybe to March or April.
In the two seasons, I love the rainy season due to the fact that everywhere is cold, even despite that everywhere would be messy and muddy whenever it rains. I love it because it's not like the dry season that is usually hot due to heat from the sun. The heat usually causes heat rashes on the skin.

I can't really state that I would want to skip any season because the seasons have their importance. The dry season enables the farmers to work on their farms, the rainy season helps the crops to grow.
If I can actually do away with some aspect of the weather, it is the harmattan period. The reason I don't like this season is that it makes everything dry, including human skin. Due to that, it causes dehydration, diarrhoea and vomiting due to dirt and sometimes death, especially in northern Nigeria.

Like I've mentioned above, the dry season is a planting season, while the rainy season is when the crops grow.

Yes. In the rainy season, people eat corn with pear. You'll also have mango fruit too. Meanwhile, in the dry season, you'll find people taking cold and ice water to calm the nerves due to heat from the sun. You'll also find people taking coconut water to quench thirst more often due to dehydration.

One is different from other. Nature changes it look in every season. By reading you post I come to know that there are two seasons in your country. Some like most winter and some like other seasons but you nothing dislike because every seasons is important for us. and the hottest season of your country is summer.The temperature is high in this time. You're correct, the heat from the sun is helpful to the body. Yes, during summer, people are free to travel and also embark on picnics.

Seasons play a very important role in the lives of people all over the world. In Nigeria, there are two distinct seasons - rainy and dry. The rainy season, characterized by heavy downpours and cold weather, is favored by many for its cool temperatures. On the other hand, the dry season brings scorching heat, particularly in the northern part of the country.
